The good news is we don’t want them either — they’re yours! When you add a card to your 'My Wallet' profile on Upside, we're looking for this information to confirm:
- Your purchase was made with a credit/debit card.
- Your purchase was made by you!
The last 4 numbers of your card are usually printed on your receipt at any business, and for locations without a receipt, that transactional information is what helps us to process those offers.
That being said, we appreciate and respect you inputting your card information. Please know that the card information you provide is only used to identify that the transaction is yours. Your full card number and your identity are secured via third-party encryption, courtesy of Stripe.
